Mark your calendars for March 26th.
That’s the day Montreal punk rockers East End Radicals are throwing in the towel. Sad.
Lyrically smart, musically violent, East End Radicals are tainted with that unmistakable east coast sound. At a time when most bands are trading in their integrity for Facebook likes, I’ve always considered East End Radicals to be a breath of fresh air. That breath you’re lucky enough to inhale if you’re able to swim out of the murky waters of Lake Trendy.
When asked about their final show, drummer Matt Digs had this to say:
“I’m so happy I don’t clean screens at A.I. Merch anymore.”
The party is going down at Turbo Haus; Montreal’s best small size venue and a perfect fit for the band’s send off. Here’s a tip, show up early and grab a cocktail downstairs in the classy confines of LOIC, then climb those stairs to get your rock on!
So come on out, and savour a rare taste…Montreal’s punk rock scene…the way it was meant to be… pure and uncut.
NB: the band will be liquidating their merch that night. The merch we were entrusted with printing from 2009 – 2015. Thanks for your business, and loyalty, gentlemen.
